Rancang Bangun Lampu Taman Otomatis

Lighting on public roads and parks is essential for ensuring safety and comfort in society. Technological advancements have also made it easier to implement solar-powered lighting, making it more flexible and efficient. However, these lighting systems are often still controlled manually using switches. Therefore, this research aims to design a control circuit capable of automatically turning on the lights at night or during cloudy conditions, as well as regulating the battery charging system to extend its lifespan. This quantitative research, using an experimental method, employs Proteus software to test the circuit design. The circuit consists of a transistor and MOSFET switching circuit, as well as a comparator and Zener diode as controllers. After testing under six different scenarios, the results show that the circuit successfully turns on the lights when the PV voltage drops and charges the battery when the PV voltage is higher than the battery voltage. Future research will involve testing the simulation results on actual hardware components.
